You read that right! Winterfest of Lights, the popular family-friendly holiday event is back in Ocean City, MD. At Explore OC, we love all of our beach town’s events but this is definitely one of our favorites. That’s why we’re making sure to share everything you need to know about the 2021 Winterfest of Lights experience!
Starting November 18 all the way through January 1, Northside Park on 125th Street in Ocean City will be transformed into a winter wonderland. Visit Wednesday through Sunday from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Admission is only $5 for guests 12 years and older and FREE for children under 11 years old.
The holiday walk-through event has an even larger path this year with elaborate lights, dancing Christmas trees, and more. Bring the whole family to marvel at the beautiful light displays, sip hot chocolate, shop for Christmas gifts, and take pictures with Santa.

Turkey Trot Open
For all the golf fanatics, enjoy the 4-player scramble golf tournament on November 20th, followed by a Thanksgiving feast at Ocean City’s award-winning Eagle’s Landing Golf Course. Call the pro shop at 410-213-7277 to sign up before all the spots are filled!
OC Christmas Parade
The Ocean City Christmas Parade is ready for the march along Coastal Highway on Saturday, December 4, 2021. The holiday event features more than 50 participants, including high school bands, horses, antique cars, colorful holiday floats, and more. Don’t miss the chance to spread some holiday cheer!
Winterfest of Lights Jingle Bell 5K Run
Why walk when you can run? If you love Winterfest of Lights and are looking for a fun competition, now is your time to shine with the Jingle Bell 5k Run on December 5, 2021. Check out more details here!
OC Life-Saving Museum Holiday Open House
Celebrate the holidays with history at the Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum’s open house. With FREE admission for all, bring your friends and family to tour the museum and participate in fun holiday crafts, storytime, and visits with Mr. & Mrs. Clause!
