Golden Sands Ocean Resort

My husband and I got married at the Golden Sands on July 13, 2024. My family and I grew up staying at the Golden Sands for our annual family vacations and it was always my dream to get married there.

My husband and I live in the Scranton area, so we were not familiar with vendors in Maryland. Melissa sent us countless recommendations for florists, entertainment, catering, and more! We were so thankful to have the help and guidance to find our perfect vendors.

Other than the majority of our wedding day being rainy and foggy, it was nothing short of perfect. The staff was top notch, especially the bartenders, and they were so helpful and accommodating. Melissa was also available the day of and helped to ensure the ceremony and reception areas were prepped and ready. The views from the 22nd floor are unmatched and on a nice day the ocean looks as though it goes on forever.

Our family stayed on the 20th floor of the Golden Sands the week after the wedding for the first time in years and had the best time. From the indoor pool to the tiki bar there is always something to keep you busy.

We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding venue and could not recommend the Golden Sands enough, whether it be for your wedding day or a week long family vacation.

Golden sands ocean resort was the most beautiful venue that we ever had and the best decision that we ever did because we search for months trying to find a good venue then we stumbled upon golden Sands ocean resort and the wedding was beautiful. The ceremony was outside on a private beach then the reception was in the hotel all the way up on the 22nd floor then you can see the ocean From all the way on the 22nd floor and it feels like you on a cruise ship and it was a beautiful sight to see me and my wife is very glad that we chose to have our wedding there and I don’t regret it at all every penny well spent 5/18/25🙌🏾✨❤️

I am a wedding planner with On Cloud Cline and recently had a wedding at the Golden Sands with Melissa as our event/venue coordinator. Upon meeting Melissa and her staff for a site visit, rehearsal and the full wedding day, she and her team were incredible to work with. Any question or request was met with enthusiasm and worked on right away. She truly took care of the venue side of things and we worked hand in hand for the logistics of the day. Everyone we met with was personable and on time. She was an amazing asset to have and you can tell the staff really liked working with her as well, which always makes a wedding day go smooth and leaves a good impression on not just vendors but guests too. The smiles on our couples' face and their gratitude will be a favorite for a long time to come. I would highly recommend getting married here and I cannot wait for the opportunity to come back!
